Club Documentation

As Benfield Bowling Club became a registered charity with the Charities Commission for England and Wales it was necessary to amend our Club Constitution and, along with that, naturally, our Club Rules. It was also necessary to introduce several new documents for the Club to operate within the legal framework concerning members, the visiting public and its Trustees.

These documents are listed below.

A new document was required once the Club applied for a grant from Sport England in 2019 and is included in the list below.

All members are required to read all documentation relating to the running of the Club and its purposes as a registered charity. Other documentation may be introduced in future as required by Government or Charities Commission legislation or rule changes from the sport‘s governing bodies of Bowls England and or Bowls Northumberland. Further, other documentation or changes to the Club Consititution or Rules etc. may be required dependent upon funder’s Terms and Conditions of any grant or fund offered to the Club which reflect their organisation and objectives.

Equally, all members should be aware that changes to any of the above documents can be made at any time and are asked to be aware of these changes. They will be reported in the Club Newsletter.

All of the above are available on the Club Notice Board at all times for your perusal as a member.
