Based in the North East of England we are a very friendly, but competitive, bowling club and membership is open to all persons regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs and new members are always warmly welcomed no matter their personal ability. Membership forms can be downloaded from this site as a PDF document and we have different levels of membership including full, junior, casual, second club and social which means there is something for everyone.
Our Club has three fully qualified coaches at all levels and two umpires, one at regional level and another at national level and, indeed, has coaching on a Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm across the season, which usually extends from April through September. All are welcome to attend whether or not a member of another club or just a beginner. Please see our page on coaching for details (hover over "About" on the menu).
The calendar to the right shows details of upcoming fixtures for the next six weeks or so.

Season underwaySeason underway
The new 2024 season is now underway and has seen Benfield win both opening fixtures in their first week of competition. We beat Seghill by one shot and gained 11 points in the Knight Cup and took all 14 in the Clegg Cup against Morpeth and sit top of the league. Early days of course.
